What Is Suppli-Mix®?
Suppli-Mix® is a completely natural micronutrient for use in beef cattle supplements.
What Does Suppli-Mix® Do?
Suppli-Mix® provides a unique, proprietary source of organic cobalt. The form is very soluble in the rumen and is quickly assimilated by rumen microbes. Consequently, rumen metabolic activity is stimulated resulting in improved dry matter digestibility and increased production of energy (as total volatile fatty acids). Specific rumen bacteria utilize cobalt for the synthesis of Vitamin B12 which is necessary for production of glucose from propionic acid.

HOW CAN I FEED SUPPLI-MIX®?
Suppli-Mix® is formulated in a meal form utilizing distillers dried grains with solubles as a carrier. Therefore, the application is very flexible.
- Can be mixed with salt and/or mineral for free-choice feeding.
- Can be mixed as part of a grain/supplement mix.
- Can be mixed into a complete ration.
- Can be included in formulations in the production of liquid supplements, pelleted supplements, cubes, blocks and tubs.
What Is The Recommended Feeding Rate Of Suppli-Mix®?
Suppli-Mix® should be fed to provide a level of ½ oz–1 oz per head per day.
- Grazing programs for cows, bulls, replacement heifers and stocker cattle: ½ oz per head per day.
- Drylot feeding programs for cows, bulls, replacement heifers, growing and finishing cattle: ½ oz per head per day.
- Weaning program: 1 oz per head per day for 28 days.
- Feedlot receiving program: 1 oz per head per day for 28 days.
