Starter Program

Once these technologies have been scientifically evaluated to provide a benefit to nursery pig production, then these technologies are implemented into the EnMax™ program. This provides our customers with new technologies and allows them to stay at the forefront of advancements in weaning pig nutrition.

Product Summary
Covenant Meal (#5814)
A highly digestible milk based product. Covenant is ideal for pigs weighing 6 to 10 lbs or fall backs. Stimulates FI.
Pork Flex Early Wean Starter Pellet (#5818)
A very high quality complex starter for feeding piglets in the crate and nursery when weaning weights are less than 12 lbs or 21 days.
Pork Flex Stage 1 Starter Pellet (#5819)
Stage 1 is a highly digestible starter for piglets ranging from 12 to 16 lbs.
Nursery 1100 Base (#5027)
Provides a source of lactose, highly digestible amino acids and energy, calcium, phosphorus, and phytase. Use as a base to make Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3 nursery completes.
EnMax Nursery 65 Base (#5824)
Base contains high levels of synthetic amino acids, organic selenium, vitamins, trace minerals, calcium, phosphorus, and phytase.
Swine Nutrition Programs
Ralco Nutrition, Inc.’s swine program offers producers of all production sizes a flexible, economical nutritional program. Our philosophy emphasizes “precision formulation,” which is based on understanding nutrient requirements and providing those nutrients through highly digestible and available ingredients.
Precision formulation values synthetic amino acids, which are completely digestible and require little energy to be absorbed and utilized, compared to the amino acids in soybean meal or other protein sources. Additionally, ideal amino acid ratios are used, which are scientifically proven for increased production and fast, efficient, lean gain. By using highly digestible amino acid sources and balancing amino acid ratios, nitrogen excretion is reduced, which lowers nitrogen excretion and ammonia production. Precision formulation utilizes the net energy system, which is the energy available to the pig for producing pork.
