Swine - Natural Feeding Program
The swine program offers producers of all production sizes a flexible, economical nutritional program. Our philosophy emphasizes “precision formulation,” which is based on understanding nutrient requirements and providing those nutrients in a package that is highly digestible and available. Our line of drug-free, non-animal protein diets and base mixes have been implemented with great success.
Our use of specialty ingredients in our diet formulations as well as the use of our water-administered specialty ingredients allows for pigs to perform well in these types of drug-free, non-animal protein marketing systems. Precision formulation puts value on synthetic amino acids, which are completely digestible and require little energy to be absorbed and utilized, compared to the amino acids in soybean meal or other protein sources. Additionally, ideal amino acid ratios are used, which are scientifically proven for increased production and fast, efficient, lean gain. By using highly digestible amino acid sources and balancing amino acid ratios, nitrogen excretion is reduced, which lowers nitrogen excretion and ammonia production. Precision formulation utilizes the net energy system, which is the energy available to the pig for producing pork.

- Producer adds corn, soybean meal, and soy oil (optional).
- Add fish meal when applicable.
